Anãs III
Continuando no tema das anãs vermelhas, Jim Kaler confirma que as anãs vermelhas nunca passam pela fase de gigante vermelha nem de nebulosa planetária e que mesmo no caso do Sol há dúvidas se um dia dará origem a uma nebulosa planetária.


From what i recall about models of these stars, the just sort of fizzledown to wd's without becoming red giants, and will not make planetary nebulae. There is even some debate about whether the sun is massive enough to make one. We still don't know as the theory of stellar winds is still not very good.
